Stained glass makes an amazing gift.

Looking for a gift for someone isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Getting a gift that is memorable, is even more difficult. You want something that is unique. Something that will be truly loved and appreciated. Something that every Tom, Dick and Harry will not get your giftee. Yes, something really special.

Whether you are buying an anniversary gift or a housewarming gift, a birthday gift or a wedding gift, one thing to consider is custom stained glass. Like its name implies, custom stained glass can be customized to meet anyone’s particular style. Whether they are traditional, contemporary, avant garde, or undecided, a custom stained glass gift is the kind of present that will remind your giftee of you for many years to come.

It’s a truly thoughtful present, because although it provides something special and unique, the person receiving the gift can customize it any way they choose.

There are a couple of ways to give a stained glass gift, one custom and one not.

If you want to go the custom route, a stained glass gift certificate might be just the ticket. The person who receives it would contact us at Denver Stained Glass, and we would send one of our designers for an in-home visit to get the ball rolling. The designer would show the client photos, samples, and many ideas for their new piece of stained glass.

The client could decide where in their house they want it – the entryway? The bathroom? A hallway window? Their kitchen cabinet doors? And then choose the perfect design and colors to match their home and their tastes.

Now, there’s another method of giving a stained glass gift that could be a lot of fun, but it doesn’t have the customization option. That’s because these stained glass windows were built around one hundred years ago. We are talking about the Antique Scottish Collection. These windows were imported from Scotland, cleaned, and restored to whatever degree necessary. They are flat out gorgeous, made by the master craftsmen of days gone by.

If you choose one of these windows for your stained glass gift, know that they are already in a window frame, and likely would not fit to be installed in your loved one’s window. But they could be hung in a window, to stunning effect.
