Saint John Paul II Catholic Church in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, partnered with Denver Stained Glass to design and install a series of new windows for their chapel addition. The goal was to create stained glass artwork that honored the four apostles while seamlessly complementing the architecture of the church’s newly expanded sanctuary.

With a limited budget in mind, our team focused on design solutions that balanced meaningful symbolism with visual impact and affordability. After researching the lives and stories of the apostles, we incorporated distinct symbolic elements—such as circular medallions, sunburst patterns, and radiant beams of light descending from heaven—to represent divine inspiration, purpose, and spiritual guidance.
